"TEN COMMANDMENTS BANNER- This cream colored banner made with a hot sublimation process (crisp text-improved quality over screen printing) contains three symbols of Judaism which are important to those interested in the Hebraic Roots of Christianity. The CROWN-Jewish people consider the TORAH (Five Books of Moses) their royal heritage. Torah scrolls have a crown. The Hebrew phrase "Keter Torah" means "Crown of Torah". The Crown symbolizes the Word of God is worthy of royal treatment. The unpronounceable Name of God is usually inscribed on the Crown. TWO LIONS- A single lion is always the symbol of the tribe of Judah (Genesis 49:9--Jacob blessing his sons) but a single lion can also be the symbol for the tribe of Dan (Deuteronomy 33:22-- Moses blessing the tribes)A single "Lion of Judah"" has become the symbol for Israel. The flag of Jerusalem has a single Lion of Judah. However when the TEN COMMANDMENTS are represented, there are TWO LIONS-referring to equal importance of the blessings of Jacob and of Moses. The stone TEN COMMANDMENTS have the CROWN (symbolizing the Torah) on the top. Each Commandment is represented by a Hebrew "Aleph-Bet" (alphabet) letter. Commandment # one is at the top of the right tablet-read down the right tablet and then begin on the top of the left tablet. (Hebrew is read right to left).
